The Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost is now open at the RSL Queensland Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre, Brisbane.

Total Veteran Healthcare and RSL Queensland are proud to announce the opening of the Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost, located within the RSL Queensland Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre, Brisbane.
The Outpost includes two clinical rooms, and is open 5 days a week. The Outpost is staffed by a nurse and service-aware General Practitioner, who provide health assessments and specialist referrals to Veterans, including those on Coordinated Veteran Care plan.
The Outpost also acts as a valuable point of education to guide Veterans towards available resources that they may be entitled.
The Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost: Taking Referrals From GPs
The Outpost is also accepting referrals from General Practitioners, supporting clinicians to provide clinically appropriate and service-informed care to veteran patients.
Navigating the DVA funding landscape, remaining up-to-date with changing legislation and emerging therapies for treatment-resistant conditions, can be immensely challenging for veteran patients and GPs alike. Total Veteran Healthcare and The Outpost provide informed clinical healthcare, ensuring veterans recieve the services they deserve and are entitled to.

RSL Queensland and Total Veteran Healthcare: Removing Barriers to Veteran Healthcare
As acknowledged in the Final Report of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, challenges in accessing timely and appropriate medical care has a profound impact on quality of life, and is a recognised risk factor for veteran suicidality.
A meaningful step towards increasing veteran access to healthcare, the Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost is a point of contact for veterans for education about medical entitlements, and continuity of care throughout ongoing medical treatment.
