If mobility challenges, pain or trauma make travel difficult, you can access many services through telehealth, where clinically appropriate.

Veteran GP care
A trusted GP who understands how your time in the ADF may have shaped your health. Your TVH GP takes the time to listen, consider your needs and develop a comprehensive and coordinated treatment plan.
DVA healthcare
Helping eligible veterans and dependents access DVA-funded health services, which may include medical and dental care, allied health, nursing, rehabilitation and palliative care.
Chronic pain support
A multidisciplinary pain management pathway for veterans with service-related injuries or persistent pain, bringing together GP assessment, coordinated care planning, allied health referrals and access to standard and alternative treatments.
Mental health support
Our veteran GPs provide initial mental health support and can refer you into the TVH mental health pathway, which includes psychology, psychiatry, transcranial magnetic stimulation, EMDR and both inpatient and day treatment programs.
Care coordination for veterans
Veterans often have multiple, overlapping health needs that need to be managed together. Your TVH GP coordinates the care you receive through the wider TVH network. This helps reduce repeated explanations and ensures every member of your treatment team is on the same page.
DVA medical claim report support
Your TVH GP can prepare a medical claim report documenting how your service history has led to your current health needs, such as pain or mental health conditions. This can help make the DVA claim process clearer and ensure the right clinical information is available.
Allied health referrals
The national TVH network provides access to 20+ services led by trusted allied health professionals and specialist clinicians.
Face-to-face or telehealth care
Appointments are available in person to access veteran-informed healthcare in Perth, or telehealth may be used for eligible appointments when it is clinically appropriate.

Internal screening and triage
Our onboarding team reviews your information and considers the most appropriate care pathway, such as GP care, pain management, mental health support, DVA claims, or a combination.
Onboarding call
A member of our team will call you within one business day to discuss your needs and answer any questions you might have.
Your first appointment
Most patients have their initial consultation within two weeks of completing onboarding.
Referring a veteran to TVH Perth
If you’re working with a current or former ADF member, please consider referring them to TVH Perth.
We encourage doctors, allied health professionals or support coordinators to refer veterans who would benefit from:
- Coordinated veteran care
- Comprehensive pain management for veterans
- Assessment and tailored care for complex presentations with overlapping conditions
- A review of treatment, particularly where progress seems to have stalled
- DVA claim medical report support
- Referrals to experienced allied health professionals.
Once your referral is received and reviewed, we will contact the veteran directly to help them find the best entry point into the TVH network.

Dr Vivin Mathew
MBBS, FRACGP, MClinMed, AFCHSM, DCH, DPM, ACCAM
Dr Vivin Mathew served as an Aviation Medical Officer and GP Trainer in the Royal Australian Air Force.
He holds a Master of Clinical Medicine from the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, with more than 20 years’ experience across general practice, rural medicine, addiction medicine, geriatrics and hospital and community care in Australia and India.
His relevant clinical interests include persistent pain, functional assessment, DVA reporting and long-term condition management, supported by occupational medicine experience across the Joint Coal Board, rail and mining industries.

Getting here
Our Claremont clinic is at 3 Airlie Street. We’re only a short stroll from the Foreshore Reserve, if you would like to sit and enjoy a restful river view after your appointment (or a 5-minute drive to Cottesloe Beach if you prefer the ocean).
- Train: Alight at either Grant Street Station or Cottesloe Station
- Bus: The 107, 998 and 999 stop nearby on the Stirling Highway
- Parking: Limited on-street parking is available near the clinic.
