TVH Outpost Melbourne

The doorway to veteran healthcare for Melbourne locals

The TVH Outpost Melbourne connects former ADF members living in or around Melbourne to service-informed care.

We start with a GP on St Kilda Road who understands your history, then draw on the full TVH national network to address your needs, including chronic pain pathways and mental health care.

Here for you

Our Melbourne clinic offers a local entry point into a coordinated care model built specifically for veterans.

We see veterans at every stage of their healthcare journey, from those who’ve just recognised they need help to those managing long-term conditions. Pain management is a high clinical priority here.

You don’t need to have everything organised before you book. Our role is to help guide you through the process and coordinate the care you need.

Your pathway to support

Here’s what happens when you get in touch.

Identifying the support you might need

Complete our short onboarding form or call our head office on 07 3523 3991. It takes a few minutes and tells us what kind of support you're looking for.

Internal screening and triage

Our clinical team reviews your information and considers the most appropriate care pathway, such as GP care, pain management, mental health support, DVA claims, or a combination.

Onboarding call

A member of our team will call you within one business day to discuss your needs and answer any questions you might have.

Your first appointment

Most patients have their initial consultation within two weeks of completing onboarding.

You only tell your story once. Your GP then manages your care plan, coordinates your team, and keeps your records so every clinician you see is already up to speed.

Referring a veteran to TVH Melbourne

We welcome referrals to TVH Melbourne from GPs, allied health providers, DVA-funded support coordinators or community organisations working with local veterans.

When you refer a veteran to Total Veteran Healthcare, our clinical intake team screens the referral and contacts the patient directly to commence onboarding. You’ll be kept informed of the pathway they enter, and our GP coordinates all ongoing care so you have a clear point of contact.
