Open five days a week and located within the One Health Clinics Cairns, the Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost provides ongoing Pain Management services and ongoing Coordinated Veteran Care plan assessments from the clinic for existing patients.
Total Veteran Healthcare and One Health Clinics have partnered to expand healthcare access for Veterans and their families in Far North Queensland. The Total Veteran Healthcare Outpost is expanding soon to add a GP to coordinate multidisciplinary care plans for complex Veteran General Practice and Pain Management needs, as well as provide DVA Claim Support services.
What is a CVC?
A CVC is a comprehensive, tailored plan designed to support the unique healthcare requirements of Veterans, providing proactive care coordination for Veteran Gold Card holders with chronic conditions, and Veteran White Card holders with chronic DVA-accepted mental health conditions. Completing a CVC through Total Veteran Healthcare gives you access to an extensive clinical and non-clinical network, with more than 25 services available.
Chronic pain is a challenging reality for many Veterans, and effective pain management is a vital component of veteran health. We specialise in both non-invasive and invasive pain relief, supported by specialist consultation to determine the most clinically appropriate treatment pathway. Services will soon be available via face-to-face consultations, and we have partnered with leading pharmacies across Australia to provide convenient access to specialised prescriptions.
Through the Cairns Outpost, Far North Queensland Veterans can soon connect with the full healthcare service and provider network of Total Veteran Healthcare.
