Our staff specialise in treating veterans, and we have veterans on staff who value-add their service experience for the teams benefit. Our service awareness allows us to understand the context around your service and its impacts, easing the conversation during appointments.
Services are provided through DVA funding according to your current DVA White or Gold Card accepted conditions and non-liability healthcare. Where you do not have suitable accepted conditions, we can refer you to DVA claims advocates for support to gain recognition and funding. Through our sister company which serves the general public, The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics, we can accept MBS and private health insurance funding for services.
We provide more than 26 services spanning Primary, Allied, and Specialist healthcare, as well as facilitating access to veteran support services including crisis, finance, employment, education, claims advocacy, and home services.
With more, you can do more – we simplify your healthcare by providing the largest range of coordinated services nationwide, with over 26 services covering Primary, Allied, and Specialist healthcare. You won’t have to search for multiple clinics, onboard each time, wait in long waitlists, or receive assessments elsewhere from your treatment. We have boutique, purpose built facilities, and your family can receive healthcare in the same location through MBS and private health at our sister organisation The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics. Your choice is always paramount, and we will work with any of your existing care team that you choose.
We have access to assessment, diagnosis, and reporting to support DVA Claims submission, with some of the shortest wait times in the country. We also can refer you to trusted and reputable claims advocates who have a track record of high quality service and values-aligned service to veterans.
Total Veteran Healthcare operates from The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics. We are located within the Bowen Hills Medical Specialist Centre, 16 Thompson Street, Bowen Hills, Brisbane.
We have a dedicated carpark with over 120 spaces, café, pathology and pharmacy.
Yes, we have in-house psychiatry which specialise in PTSD, MDD, anxiety, ADHD, and other conditions. We have current availability and exceptionally short wait times.
Yes, as part of our delivery model we partner with other clinics and doctors to provide just the care you need. If you have a great GP already, they can refer to us for the other services you may need that they cannot provide, for example specialist services like TMS or esketamine. We do not solicit services away from other clinics.
