Esketamine Treatment
The Total Veteran Healthcare commitment to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary healthcare solutions has led us to provide an innovative treatment for those struggling with treatment-resistant depression.
If you have tried two previous treatments for depression without success, our esketamine treatment provides an innovative treatment escalation option following TMS, where clinically appropriate.
This medication, administered as a nasal spray, has shown promising results in providing relief for those experiencing treatment-resistant depression. The nasal spray is a prescription medicine, and our team of experienced psychiatrists guide you through the treatment process with expertise and compassion.
Esketamine nasal spray, derived from a well-known anesthetic, offers a unique approach to treating depression by targeting glutamate receptors instead of traditional neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. This can lead to rapid mood improvement, often within hours to days.
Treatment typically involves 13 sessions over 8 weeks, followed by maintenance as needed, with adjustments based on individual progress.
Total Veteran Healthcare is dedicated to supporting veterans in overcoming depression. If traditional treatments haven’t worked for you, consider exploring the benefits of our Esketamine Treatment.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(TMS)
Total Veteran Healthcare are proud to offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, a cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment option for depression and a range of neurological conditions.
TMS uses a magnetic coil to send targeted pulses to specific areas of the brain. These pulses stimulate nerve cells, regulating brain activity, helping to cultivate new neural pathways.
TMS therapy begins with a thorough evaluation of the individual’s medical history and the nature of their condition. Based on this information, our team build a personalised treatment plan for each patient.
Each TMS treatment typically lasts for 30-60 minutes. A complete course may include 35 sessions, spread over 4-6 weeks with maintenance as required, depending on your individual needs, with normal activities resumed post-treatment.
Discover the transformative potential of TMS therapy at Total Veteran Healthcare, as part of a coordinated approach to your mental health care.
TMS can be used, where clinically appropriate,
to treat:
- Depression
- PTSD
- Anxiety
- Tinnitus
- Chronic Pain
- OCD
- ADHD
- Auditory hallucinations
- TBI related symptoms
Benefits of TMS treatment:
- Non-invasive
- Drug-free
- Minimal side-effects
- Improved mood
- Effective for treatment-resistant conditions
- Up to 70% response rate for veterans with various mental health conditions
